The long awaited first single from local lads, The Quilters has finally dropped - and we couldn’t be more stoked!

Led by brothers Ray and Jerome Porter, The Quilters blend elements of alt-rock, folk, Americana, surf rock, pop, and soul. Oscillating between lead vocals, harmonies, keys, bass and guitar - the Porter Brothers are a force unto themselves.

They're joined by an incredible mini horn section - Tim Hunt on trombone (and vocal harmonies), and Gianluca Bullock on trumpet (and percussion). Devin Pugliese keeps everything grounded on drums (and a bit of bass!).

“Gravedigger” is a warm, buoyant track and a perfect showcase of what the band is capable of; a sound that immediately conjures imagery of Ocean Beach, Highway One, and beyond.

We can’t wait to hear more from these guys - give their latest a listen, then head over to their social media accounts and hit that follow/ like button.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t give a little shoutout to Amanda Roosa - she takes stellar photos and seems to be a large part of The Quilters’ visual aesthetic. You can follow her on Instagram here.
