I LOVED The Super Mario Movie and all it’s jokes and easter eggs. But the stand out running gag, hands down goes to this lil’ nihilistic luma.

I was feeling particularly bleak one day when this image emerged. An attempt to express the feelings of drabness and trapped-ness when in the throws of a depressive episode.
