In February of 2020, my band Beach Coyotes entered the studio to record our debut EP - “Debt to Settle”. We finalized the mixing process the weekend prior to Covid-19 shutting down the entire world. It was a very surreal experience by the time we got the tracks mastered and were ready to promote.

I created this visual for the first single - the song is about paradigm shifts, the analogy being things change when you discover “better drugs”. For me, those better drugs were different types of music, experiences, environments, places, and people. Music represented as the disco ball felt like an appropriate thing to reach for here.

Both assets were modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D and composited in After Effects.
