Kitty Cash Bar

Kitty Cash Bar

Software: After Effects CC / Illustrator CC

In another collaboration with Regan Parrish - Kitty Cash Bar was a weekly “Virtual Happy Hour”, designed to rally friends on social media around a different Bay Area venue each week, and generate funds to support them in the initial days of the pandemic.

Once Regan suggested the name, the design immediately came to me and was scribbled down on paper. I translated that design into Illustrator and then exported the splines into Cinema 4D to create the neon lights, cords and mounting hardware. For the second week I created a color swap.

This idea lasted for about a month before pandemic fatigue crept in and temporarily halted our motivation. You can read about the venues and some of the stories we gathered HERE and HERE.
