Revive The Night

Revive The Night - Retrospective

Software: After Effects CC / Cinema 4D / Quicktime Screen Recordings

In early December, a volunteer group of artists, organizers, musicians, and venues alike came together to hold Revive The Night: A virtual fundraiser for SF’s independent dance floors.

Hosted by Fault Radio, another SF institution quickly approaching legendary status, I was asked if I could contribute to the project with animations, and I was stoked to dive in.

I created the intro animation seen in the video above in Cinema 4D - which was used in between sets during the four day stream. I also created the simple shape animation that occurs in the top right of the video. This persistent bit of branding looped for the entirety of the virtual rave!

It was amazing to see my work in context of the immense effort that went into putting Revive the Night together.
